Starting on a solid foundation

With the proper planning and organization, producing a video can be a fascinating, complex and enjoyable experience. With the production company and the corporate client working together as a team every step of the way, everything should fall easily into place and the outcome is a powerful marketing, sales or training tool that can quickly pay for itself many times over.

Unfortunately, it doesn't always turn out this way, as many clients are unsure as to the video production process: where to begin, what steps to take to finish the project, how to get a singular message across so that the video works for you and creates the desired response from its audience. More than 2 decades of video production for broadcasting, corporate and education and multiple awards, gives us an intuition of what will work and what won't. With so many finished productions under our belt we will be able to steer the project in a safe direction.

The Script ...

A video script is much like the blueprint for a house. Before the production is shot, much of the quality and effectiveness of that video has already been determined by the script. A video script specifies all visual elements, narration, music and graphics. The script will give you and us a realistic preview of the piece before it is produced. It also provides a guide for exactly what we will shoot and how we will edit your production.
AMPHION Communications will interview you and/or your staff to thoroughly understand what is the purpose of the video, who is the audience and the expected result. We will allocate time to research and write a script as well as provide pre-production planning services for your video.

Your active participation in this process will help us create an approved script that becomes a detailed plan of action for your production.
 
In Addition...

Depending on the scope and nature of the production we could also recommend the development of a storyboard. This document will allow us to have a pre-visualization of each major shot and a good idea of the aesthetics of the finished product.
